About

Hi.

I’m T and this is Letter T Graphics. (Fitting name, no?)

I am a Christian, a Husband, a father of two awesome boys and a Freelance Graphic Designer who, as the site title states, specializes in Print Design. I graduated in 2002 from Colorado State University with a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree, Graphic Design emphasis.

During my time at CSU, web was still considered a fledgling area of graphic design, so most of my formal instruction was in print projects. I had the great privilege of studying under Phil Risbeck, who was a great influence on my design sensibilities. Gradients, when used properly, are powerful. But don’t over use them. Ha!

In 2004, I landed my first professional design job with The Greeley Tribune in Greeley, CO. (Yes. I’m still here.) Luckily for me, it’s not just a production job. The Tribune is fairly unique in terms of newspaper design. They offer their advertisers a full range of design services. From logo design, to brochures and fliers, to advertisements and billboards, the Tribune Design Team has done it all.

Not long after starting at the Tribune, I was able to land my first freelance job (which is where my passion lies).

I also do freelance ad design for The Constitutionalist Today in Colorado Springs, CO. I didn’t know I was interested in Politics until late last year, but helping TCT is something I am very passionate about and proud of. If you have a chance, browse over and give them a look.

I know there’s a lot more I should probably put here, and there’s other stuff I probably shouldn’t have put here, but this is where I’m at right now. If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me. I may or may not read them and respond. Double ha! As in… Haha! Not because I don’t feel like it, more so because I may not have time.
