Today in church, Doug spoke on John 18:28-19:16. Not that these are exceptionally cool notes, design wise, they do sum up things nicely.

Some of the highlights of the message are:

Jesus was rejected by both the political establishment and the religious establishment. It was essential to His purpose here on earth. Without being rejected by both, he would not have been condemned to death. For our sins.

People don’t want Jesus to be the truth because it means they will no longer rule over their own lives.

As a side not to a Greeley Tribune “Faith” article, it was reiterated that Jesus death was ESSENTIAL. The Bible makes that very clear.
